  • Model 2543 Pressure control Head - Dual Output

    The 2543 Control Head consists of two handle-cam operated, accurate, self relieving regulating valves.

    With the handle in the center or ‘off’ position, both outputs are at zero, or lowest pressure. Movement of the handle in either direction delivers regulated pressure to the chosen output according to handle position. The other output remains vented to atmosphere.

     

    Model - 2542 Pressure Control Head – Single Output

    The 2542 control head consists of a lever-cam operated, accurate, self relieving regulating valve. Handle movement actuates the regulating valve delivering output pressures according to handle position.

    Model 2544 Dual Function Control Head 1/8" NPT

     

    The 2544 Control Head consists of two 3-way directional control valves and an accurate self-relieving pressure regulating valve. All valves are handle-cam actuated. With the handle in center position, both 3-way valve outputs are vented to atmosphere and the regulating valve output pressure is lowest.

    Movement of the handle through the first 20o in either direction actuates one of the 3-way valves, delivering full supply pressure to the chosen directional output. Handle movement beyond 20o actuates the regulating valve, delivering pressure to its output according to handle position. The chosen directional output remains at full supply pressure from 10o to 80o of handle travel.

    Model 2545 Twin Dual-Function Control Head 1/8" NPT

    The 2545 is designed for twin engine, single lever clutch and throttle control. It is all bronze and stainless steel construction and gives years of trouble free service in a marine environment.

    It basically consists of two single engine controls under one cover. Movement of either one of the handles through 200 from the center position actuates one of the 3-way valves delivering full supply pressure to its corresponding output port.

    Moving the handle beyond 200 actuates an accurate pressure regulating valve. The output of this valve is proportional to the handle movement. Therefore giving precise control over the engine speed setting device.

    Model - 2546 Pressure Control Head 2-Lever Triple Output

    The 2546 Control Head consists of three self-relieving, compensating pressure regulating valves. In the standard model, the long handle (pitch) actuates two regulating valves. With the handle in center position, both outputs are at their lowest pressure setting. Movement of the handle in either direction delivers regulating pressure to the chosen output proportional to handle position. The short handle (throttle) actuates one regulating valve and can be moved only in one direction.

    The 2547 Control Head consists of four self relieving, compensating pressure regulating valves controlled by two handles. Each handle actuates a pair of regulating valves. All valves are cam-lever actuated. The 2547 is a double version of the 2543 Control Head.

    With the handle in the center or off position, both outputs are at zero or lowest pressure setting. Movement of the handle in either direction delivers regulated pressure to the chosen output proportional to the handle position. The other output remains at the lowest pressure setting.

     

    Model - 2555 Twin Dual-Function Control Head 1/8" NPT

    The model 2555 is basically the same as model 2545. It is however, equipped with illuminated side scales and with handles having pointers to indicate their position.

    The initial movement of the handle will select direction of propulsion or winch, and movement thereafter will increase the engine speed. The control valves are all manufactured in bronze and stainless steel, and will deliver years of trouble free service, even in the harshest marine environment.

     

    MODEL - 2588 Driller Valve

    Kobelts success in the oil industry is based on its commitment to providing equipment built to withstand the harshest of working conditions. The strength and workmanship of Kobelt drilling valves prove to be no exception.

    Kobelt Manufacturing produces a variety of different valves for all pneumatic functions.

    The Driller Valve Model 2588 is constructed entirely in durable bronze and stainless steel, suited for land and offshore applications, even corrosive salt water environments. It is available in various pressure ratings, but is usually recommended at 0 to 100-120 PSI maximum.

    The cam on the brake valve is removable, and can be modified to provide special pressure profiles. Some operators prefer to have a gradual pressure increase on the low end, especially working with a light rig load and a more rapid pressure increase for the heavier loads.

    The Driller Valve is extremely responsive to handle movement and can be graduated within 1 PSI up and down. This is extremely important as good feel and response is a must.

    It is important, however, to remember that 2588 model cannot be plumbed into the brake directly. A pressure compensated relay valve such as model 3329 is required to increase the flow to the brake itself.

    3009 Shuttle or 2-Way Check Valve

    The 3009 Shuttle Valve directs air flow from one of two possible inputs to a single output while preventing any air flow through the second input.

    The 3009 contains only one moving part, the shuttle. The shuttle shifts when the pressure on one input exceeds the other.

    MODEL 3217 - COMPENSATING SELF-RELIEVING AIR PRESSURE REGULATING VALVE

    The 3217 is a mechanically actuated, sub-plate mounted regulating valve. It is both compensating and self-relieving with an adjustable spring for setting the valve working pressure range. Movement of the spool stem into the valve produces a proportional output pressure, within the working range of the valve.

    3323 Normally Open Adjustable Relay Valve 1/4" NPT

    The 3323 is a poppet-type normally open relay valve. The spring keeps this valve in an open position and pilot pressure will close the valve, stopping the air flowing from the source of supply to the device actuated. Because of the 'U' cup and piston arrangement, this valve lends itself extremely well for high pressure pilot signals (hydraulic and pneumatic).

    The maximum operating pressure for the pilot chamber and piston is 700 PSI. The maximum control pressure (pneumatic) is 200 PSI. The valve is fully adjustable, and various springs are available, to provide the proper operating range.

    The 3300 series relay valves are all made in bronze and stainless steel and all provide years of trouble free service, in a salt water environment.

    This valve is also available with dual piloting on special request.

     

    3324 Normally Closed Adjustable Relay Valve 1/4" NPT

    The 3324 is normally closed adjustable poppet-type valve, which is controlled by a piston and spring arrangement.

    The spring keeps this valve in a closed position and pilot pressure will open the valve, allowing the air flow from the source of supply to the device actuated.

    The maximum pilot pressure is 700 PSI. The maximum control pressure (pneumatic) is 200 PSI.

    Many of these valves are used for clutch and throttle inter-locks in marine propulsion applications, where the gear box has to accumulate hydraulic pressure to lock up the forward or reverse clutch. After clutch lock up the hydraulic pressure will open this valve, allowing the throttle signal to go through to the engine speed setting device.

    Model - 3325 Normally Open Adjustable Air Pilot Relay Valve 1/4" NPT

    The 3325 is a poppet-type normally open adjustable relay valve. The spring keeps this valve in an open position and lets the air pass from the source of supply to the device actuated. When air pressure enters the pilot port the valve will go into a closed and exhaust position. This stops the flow of air from the source of supply and exhausts the air from the device actuated. Several spring ratings are available up to 120 PSI. This valve lends itself extremely well for inter-locking and time delay circuitry. It’s all bronze and stainless steel construction will give many years of trouble free service. This valve has a full flow ¼ inch capacity without restrictions.

    An optional inlet cap is available which is equipped with an adjustable flow control that permits the volume regulation of the supply air.

     

    Model - 3326 Normally Closed Adjustable Air Pilot Relay Valve 1/4" NPT

    The 3326 is a poppet-type normally closed relay valve. The spring keeps this valve in a closed position. The supply line is blocked and the out going line is vented through the exhaust port. When air pressure enters the pilot port the main spring is compressed. This will permit the supply air to flow through the out port and close the port to exhaust. Several spring ratings are available up to 120 PSI. This valve lends itself extremely well for inter-locking and time delay circuitry. It’s all bronze and stainless steel construction will give many years of trouble free service. This valve has a full flow 1/4 inch capacity without restrictions.

    An optional inlet cap is available which is equipped with an adjustable flow control that permits the volume regulation of the supply air.

     

    Model – 3327 Normally Closed Adjustable Differential Air Pilot Relay Valve 1/4" NPT

    The 3327 is a poppet-type normally closed relay valve. The diaphragm spring keeps this valve in a closed position. This stops the flow of supply air and vents the accumulated air from the device actuated to exhaust. Various springs are available for this valve to bring the pilot pressure setting to a maximum of 120 PSI. When control pressure enters pilot port number one, and accumulates to a pressure higher than the spring setting, it will open the supply to the out port and close the out port to exhaust. The valve can be cancelled, (returned to a closed position), by lowering the pilot pressure in number one pilot port. It can also be closed by sending a signal to pilot port number two, which will overcome pilot pressure number one. This valve lends itself extremely well for a multitude of dual piloting applications. The purpose of the dual diaphragm is to avoid deflection of the diagrams in two directions.

    Model - 3328 Normally Open Adjustable Differential Air Pilot Relay Valve 1/4" NPT

    The 3328 is a poppet-type normally open relay valve.

    The diaphragm spring forces the valve stem down, which keeps the poppet open. This allows air to flow from the source of supply directly to the device actuated. When air pressure enters pilot port number two, it will over-come the diaphragm spring and close the valve. In this position, the source of air supply is closed and all the accumulated air pressure in the out-line is vented to exhaust. A second pilot signal can be used in pilot port number one. This will assist the spring and overpower pilot signal number two, and again open the source of supply to the device actuated. This dual pilot arrangement lends itself extremely well in complex inter-locking circuitry. Various springs are available to give the proper operating characteristics.

    Model 3329 Pilot Operated Pressure Compensating Relay Valve

    The purpose of this relay valve is to provide a large volume of air to either clutches, brakes, or a cylinder with a small pilot control. The 3329 is a very accurate control valve and provides 1/2" full air flow. The pilot line can be controlled from multiple stations. The control valve is constructed entirely in bronze and stainless steel and is ideally suited for all weather application.

    The 3329 Pressure Compensating Regulating Valve has an upper and lower chamber. The upper chamber can receive a variable control pressure. The diaphragm will be depressed downward and the air supply from the main source can flow through the in port to the outport. In the process of generating pressure in the outport a provided that sends the same pressure that is going to the outport into the underside of the diaphragm chamber. Therefore, the out pressure to the main cylinder or brakes will always equal the pilot pressure. Since the diaphragm will settle at an equilibrium where the pilot line pressure is reduced the diaphragm will move upwards and, consequently, the valve will go into an exhaust position and dump any air pressure higher than the pilot pressure to atmosphere. This valve is extremely responsive to pilot pressure and has a very large air flow

    Model 3403 2-Position, 4-Way Air Pilot Directional Control Valve 1/4" NPT

    The 3403 consists of a cylinder-cam actuated 2 position, 4-way poppet type valve. A momentary burst of pilot air pressure shifts the 4-way valve directing the supply air to the chosen directional output.

    Model - 3515 Lever ON-OFF Valve Control Head 1/4" NPT
     
    The 3515 Control Head consists of a cam-handle actuated 2-position, 3-way poppet type valve. Movement of the handle to either extreme detent position opens or closes the valve. An optional 2-position handle latch positively locks the handle to the desired position, thus, eliminating any accidental movement of the handle.
    Model – 3516 Dial On-Off Valve

    The 3516 is a 2 position 3-way full detent directional control valve. It is used frequently to control air supply for pressure control heads. The 3516 can be used for any application where a small-package panel mount on-off valve is required.

    Model - 3517 Palm Valve

    The 3517 is a normally closed spring return two position 3-way valve. It is commonly used when a short burst of air is required for piloting or triggering larger valves and relays.

    The 3517 will also pass continuous flow when steady pressure is applied to the palm button. The small size of the 3517 makes it ideal for many panel mount applications.

     

    Model - 3609 Single Handle Four Way Directional Control Head (1/4" N.T.P.)

    The 3609 control head consists of two cam-handle actuated 3-way valves with a common supply port. In the standard model, handle movement is detented in three positions. With the handle in center position, both 3-way valve outputs are vented to atmosphere. Movement of the handle in either extreme detent position actuates one of the 3-way valves delivering full supply pressure to the chosen directional output.

    Different control head functions can be obtained without altering the valve assembly, by simply removing the dome and rotating the cam.

    The optional 3-position handle latch locks the handle into the desired position preventing accidental movement of the lever.

    MODEL - 3803 MECHANICALLY ACTUATED FOUR-WAY BLOCK MOUNT VALVE

    The 3803 is a mechanically actuated, sub-plate mounted four-way directional control valve. It is a poppet type valve consisting of two normally closed three-way valves with a common supply port.

    Movement of the desired spool stem into the valve opens the chosen tree-way valve and directs the air supply to the chosen directional output. AN inlet flow control is available as an optional extra.

    Model 3903 Quick Release Valve 1/4" NPT

    The 3903 Quick Release Valve is installed in a pneumatic system to provide fast exhausting of air from lines, actuators and accumulators. Exhaust air is vented directly from large valve orifices instead of going back through the control valves.

    4105 Actuator Positioner
     

    The 4105 Actuator Positioner is used in conjunction with pressure control heads to provide fast accurate positioning of low-force mechanisms.

    Input pressure acts against a Piston, U cup and a spring, producing lever position output corresponding to input pressure.

    The Piston, U cup and large bearing surfaces for the rod and all lever pins assures low friction for fast, accurate response and long life.

    Model - 4107 Throttle Actuator

    The 4107 Throttle Actuator is used in conjunction with pressure control heads to provide fast, accurate positioning of low and medium force mechanisms. Input pressure acts on a rolling diaphragm and against a spring, producing lever position output corresponding to input pressure.

    The output lever is provided (threaded rod) with two jam nuts on either side of the output linkage which permits infinite stroke selection. This arrangement is ideally suited for multi engine installations with a single source of control air pressure. The fine adjustment of the linkage will allow throttle adjustment for load equalization (not an automatic load share). This allows the engineer to position the throttle actuator if there is no air supply. It can be done without having to disconnect any part of the linkage from the actuator

    Model - 4108 Actuator Positioner

    The 4108 Pneumatic Positioner is used to position throttles, variable delivery pumps and innumerable items that need infinite positioning. Due to its large diaphragm area and heavy spring, the 4108 is a very powerfull positioning device. It is very accurate, although the accuarcy decreases proportionately to the resistance of the object to be controlled. The output lever is provided with a threaded rod which permits infinite stroke selection. This is accomplished by moving the nuts on the output lever up and down, thus changing the effective lever length.

    Mechanical stops are provided for a minimum and maximum pressure setting. The output linkage can be rotated at 90 degree increments to provide horizontal or vertical movement. The available stroke is 5/32"(4mm) to 4 3/16"(106mm). For small output movements the threaded rod can be inserted from the opposite side.

    Model 4204 Double Acting Self-Centering Actuator

    The 4204 is a pivot mounted spring centered cylinder. Applying air pressure to either side of the position will cause the piston rod to move accordingly.

    This cylinder is mostly used for the control of marine hydraulic reverse reduction gears and serves as a three piston actuator providing control over the hydraulic clutch valve. With no air pressure in either control port the output rod is centered. By applying air pressure (minimum 65 PSI), the piston rod will move to either extreme position. The piston rod stroke is one inch in either direction, (total stroke two inches).

    The construction is all bronze ands stainless steel, and will provide years of trouble free service. When used as three position control cylinder order model 4204-C. The same configuration cylinder is also available for infinite positioning of variable hydraulic delivery valves and pumps. It is possible to infinitely position the output rod by varying the air pressure to either side of the cylinder. When ordering this configuration order model 4204-A. The basic difference between the two configurations is the spring.

    4207 Double Acting, Self-Centering Actuator

    The 4207 is a double-acting and spring-centered air actuator.

    The rod-lever configuration provides fourteen (14) different strokes which could be positioned into eight (8) different planes by rotating the rod end cap.

    Model - 4224 Double Acting Self Centering Positioning Actuator

    The 4224 is a self centering, single spring, two direction positioner. Its unique design (patented) permits position within a .5% accuracy. This cylinder is available in various pressure ranges and preloaded to customer specifications.
