SABRE Ranger 5000 Ruggedised BGAN M2M Satellite Terminal

The Wideye™SABRE™ Ranger 5000 is a Class 2 Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) or a Machine-to-Machine (M2M) satellite terminal. It has a ruggedised mechanical enclosure designed to be “touch once and left” in all types of weather conditions. The terminal operates on either the Inmarsat standard BGAN or the M2M service. It offers global coverage and is fit for SCADA applications to gather data in real time from remote unmanned locations. With Addvalue’s IP watchdog feature, the terminal is reliable and stable in its connectivity for extended periods of operation.

The Wideye™ SABRE™ Ranger 5000 is fully compatible with the remote terminal management platform, which allows the user to graphically view the location of the terminal and monitor the terminal status. The terminal can be controlled or configured remotely through SMS commands and the logs can be retrieved for debugging.

The rugged mounting bracket (optional accessory) of the Wideye™ SABRE™ Ranger 5000 is made of stainless steel. Its design allows easy installation and effortless antenna pointing.
