Vikospray 2000

The Vikospray 2000 system is a medium size spray unit designed for use on response vessels and vessels of opportunity.

The system comprises of a diesel engine, a self-priming main pump and chemical pump, a manifold and two six meter spray arms. The complete system is mounted on a frame but the spray arms can be detached and mounted to the ship's rail.

Key features and benefits

  • The Vikospray 2000 can be used to distribute concentrate or dilute dispersants.
  • The 6-metre spray arms give a swath width of up to 12 metres plus the beam of the vessel, when the spray arms are mounted to the ship's rail.
  • The arms can easily be detached or swung through 90o for storage.
  • The system includes flow indicators and valves that allow flow rates and dilution of the dispersant to be monitored and controlled.
  • The system has a total output of up to 150l/minute.
